Project Recap:

LI Group’s field resources installed new menu boards, brew tap handles, and product marketing badges at 2,197 coffee house chain locations across the US. The individual installers had to review and analyze each store’s layout, counter type and position of existing taps, and wall type and position of existing menu boards to follow strict placement guidelines set by our customer. LI Group’s logistics team provided and coordinated all shipments to each installation crew on a weekly basis. The team managed eight different SKUs and 94 strategic warehouses/pick up points across the country. Installers visited each pick-up point multiple times per week to replenish their materials stock.  Inventory was tracked and managed so that installers always had the proper amount of each SKU. This ensured that each site’s unique layout could be accommodated and installs could take place on schedule. Accurate QC of install deliverables, maintenance of inventory levels, precise fulfillment, and transfer of material between installers led to no additional inventory requests and allowed us to consolidate and return all excess inventory back to the customer to utilize across other programs.
