LI Group’s Construction division adapts to all your project needs, from large scope fixture installs and new store construction to retail space remodels and refreshes. Our team provides project development, procurement, multi-site scheduling, document management, fixture and millwork installation, graphic installation, construction, and remodeling services. Since adding the construction division in 2010, our construction team has worked with numerous customers to create new experiences in retailers nationwide. We are a licensed General Contractor in 40+ states.

Sleep Number Store Refresh

LI Group worked with Sleep Number stores across the nation to refresh 98 locations. Sleep Number utilized multiple services that LI Group offers:

• Warehousing/Inventory Management & Reporting

Project Recap:
Our Construction crews refreshed 98 stores over 2 years, from the ground up. The crews demo’d the existing space, relocated specific fixtures, installed new fixtures, installed new carpet, new electrical outlets, painted and installed new graphics and wall coverings. LI Group’s Logistical team coordinated vendors to ensure transportation aligned to match construction an, and delivered to each site to meet the installation schedule. The teams had weekly status meetings with Sleep Number to proactively align schedules, resolve issues and ensure all expectations were met.
Gander Outdoor Store Remodel

Project Details:
LI Group worked with Gander Outdoors to remodel 72 of their stores across the nation. Gander Outdoors utilized multiple services to ensure cost-effective and time efficient remodels through LI Group:
• Vendor Management from 24 different suppliers
• Warehousing and Inventory Management
• Transportation – timed delivery
• Construction and Installation
• Customer Portal-customized reporting of materials, inventory management and site statistics
Project Recap:
Our construction crews remodeled 72 stores in 10 months. The team stuck to a very strict timeline completing 3-5 stores each week. Each store started as an empty shell which the crew then installed fixtures, millwork, case work, graphics and signage. LI Group’s Logistical team collaborated with the clients 24 vendors to maintain and track detailed list of fixtures for each store location. They tracked each vendor’s orders to ensure fixtures where completed and time definite site delivery. Our warehouse stored, inventoried and managed fixture truck stock and store returns. This allowed punch list items to be quickly fulfilled and delivered while our construction crews were on site. LI Group had a dedicated 14 person team that had daily status meetings with all parties involved to ensure schedules stayed aligned.
US Cellular Store Remodel

Project Details:
LI Group worked with US Cellular stores across the nation to fully remodel 555 locations. US Cellular utilized LI Group Construction and Installation teams.
Project Recap:
Our construction division, consisting of 3-4 crews, worked cohesively on a specific time line to fully remodel 555 stores over 8 years. The crews demo’d the existing space and fixtures, installed new walls, repainted the store, installed new carpet, installed new ACT tile and grid, installed new LED lighting and installed new graphics and fixtures. The teams had weekly status meetings with US Cellular to proactively align schedules, resolve issues and ensure all expectations were met since we had multiple trades working together.
